The Life of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton
Today, January 4, is a special date for us as a Catholic Institution because we celebrate the feast day of our Patroness, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Throughout her life, she exemplifies the dedication of a Mother, not only to her children, but also to the orphans and the needy. She inspires us with her devotion to the Holy Rosary and her love for the Holy Eucharist. With firm commitment to serve God, she found a religious congregation for women and a Catholic School which planted the seeds of Catholic education in the United States. As we recall her life, through this video, we may be inspired to be truly her children who embody her virtue of Faith, Love, and Selfless Service.
The Season of Advent
Advent Season is a time for preparation for the coming of Christ. This preparation does not only intend for the Christmas season but also to the second coming of Christ. It requires us to be ready externally and internally.
We invite everyone to be one with us in our institutional observance of the season of advent. Every week, we offer our prayers as we light the candles of advent.
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
Today, December 8, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. This commemorates Mary being conceived without original sin to prepare her for her divine role as a mother of Jesus. The world, we live in, may be tainted with sin, but with the help of Mary, our Mother, and her prayer, we may strive to be chaste and holy.

The Center for Student Well-being (CSWb) Cavite Campus held a Career Webinar for Parents last October 24, 2020 as part of its Career Week 2020 celebration with a theme, “My Parents, My Partners: Inclusive and Inspiring Career Conversations”.
The resource speaker was Dr. Sheila Marie “Shake” G. Hocson. She is a registered guidance counselor, psychologist, psychometrician and a licensed professional teacher. She is the current Guidance Director of FEU Manila, former President of the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association (PGCA) and the former branch leader for the American Counseling Association. She is a staunch advocate for anti-bullying, career development, mental health, family, marriage, life, and child protection. Moreover, she is the author of My Career Journey Book Series, the No To Bullying Handbook under Pediapharma Foundation, and the Resilience Toolkit at Unilab Foundation.
Solemnity of All Souls' Day
The solemnity of All Souls’ Day (Nov. 2) is a commemoration of our departed brothers and sisters. On this day, we offer our prayers for the forgiveness of the sins of those souls in purgatory so that they may be able to join God eternally in His heavenly Kingdom. As a Catholic institution, it is one of our Seton cultures to offer prayers and candles for the souls in purgatory. This year, in the midst of this pandemic, we encourage everyone to pray with us and offer our prayer intention for God’s abundant mercy on the souls of those who died from Covid-19.
Solemnity of All Saints Day
The Solemnity of All Saints (Nov. 1) is when the Church honors every saint: those officially known and honored on the Church calendar, and saints known only to God. On All Saints Day, we commemorate these holy individuals and ask for their prayers and intercessions. We especially raise our prayers to God with the help of our Patroness, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
