The Student Records Unit is one with the Elizabeth Seton School’s pursuit of committing itself to academic excellence and quality service. As part of the institution’s support service, it primarily focuses on highly confidential and significant documents that solely embody the school grades and personal data of all ESS students. To guarantee continual excellence in processing, organizing, updating and safekeeping of all important and delicate student records, the SRU aims to: 1. Promptly ensure security and maintenance of all confidential files and records at all times 2. Efficiently provide the delivery of quality service to all clientele all the time 3. Punctually and truthfully communicate and/or disseminate information from external sources to concerned unit / personnel within 24 hours 4. Accurately initiate innovative measures or ways whenever necessary for the effective improvement of the Unit’s programs SRU is open from 7:40 AM to 4:40 PM daily from Monday to Friday. The office is closely involved in the following responsibilities: • Safekeeps students’ academic records • Evaluates subjects or credits • Releases / transfers students’ credentials to requesting schools • Assesses eligibility for graduation of senior students, Grade Six and Prep students • Attends to the printing and issuance of certifications, diplomas and scholastics records • Receives, processes and dispatches records or transcript of records of both active and inactive students • Keeps an up-to-date roster of graduates and other statistical data • Controls flow, safety and security of files and records • Processes / releases students’ Automated Report Cards / Student IDs / Alumni IDs • Provides information / details regarding the needed documents of student organizations • Assists in students’ enrollment for High School Summer Academic Classes • Monitors / controls preparation / distribution of Preschool / Grade School Handbook Diary and High School Students’ Planner • Directly communicates with the Department of Education (DepED) officials on school matters
