The ESS Instructional Media Unit (IMU) is a significant learning support system that aids in the strengthening and upholding of the library program for the attainment of the vision and mission of the institution. The IMU has an active acquisition program designed to provide its clientele an effective and efficient service. It also endeavors to facilitate the educational process and contribute in providing resource materials that will assist every Setonian in his academic undertakings. To achieve this, learning resources are available in the unit like books in various subject areas, non-print materials such as charts, flashcards, pictures, kits, realia, manipulative, toys and equipment such as LCD projectors, over-head projectors, CDs/DVDs/MP3s, cassette players, VHS/VCD/DVD players, recorder, microphone, and a lot more. Professional librarians and able IMU staff provide guidance and direction to the concerns and research needs of the unit’s clientele. The unit considers that this handbook will serve as an avenue or productive research and different tasks to unravel puzzles and questions. Likewise, it aims to quench the insatiable thirst for academic and professional learning. |
