In the light of the Elizabeth Seton School’s Vision-Mission and CREED which pronounce selfless and dedicated service, the Community Extension Service becomes an integral part of its educational system and formation process.

The Community Extension Service serves as a link between learning and action. It provides avenues and experiences for students, faculty, staff and parents to become aware of, exposed to and integrated with the conditions and needs of the marginalized sectors of our society.

It also serves as a central source of information about opportunities in service and social justice as it coordinates sustained partnerships between the school and community organizations. It facilitates cooperation between students and personnel groups, and assists in the development of effective leadership. Values and virtues learned by students are internalized and actualized through the different programs and activities of the Community Extension Service.

Programs:

I. Adopt-A-Community ( South Campus )
   • 60 to 70 out of school children from Sitio Pulo

II. Adopt-A-School – Mikesell Annex (Main Campus)
    • Moonwalk Elementary School – Mikesell Annex
    • 1,045 pupils ( Grade 1 to Grade 5 Pupils )

III. In-Campus – “Food for Jhonies and Garies” (Main & South )
      • 13 Maintenance & 13 Security Guards _ South Campus
      • 20 Maintenance & 23 Security Guards – Main Campus

IV. Off-Campus  :  Visit to Government and Private Charitable Institutions
     • Marillac Hills, Sarnelli Center for Street Children, Elsie Gaches, Nayon
       Ng Kabataan, Hospicio De San Jose, Haven for Children, Bahay
       Tuluyan,etc.

V. Spiritual Enrichment : Employees Spiritual Activities

    1. Monthly Mass
    2. Monthly Bible Sharing
    3. Confession ( Twice a year )
    4. Annual Recollection/Retreat
    5. Pilgrimage
    6. Way of the Cross

VI. Operation Tulong
     • Donations of books, references and other usable Materials to those who
        are in need.
